3. Remove the tie rod and the ball joint of the steering gear.
Some cars have grooves on the ball head. You can use an adjustable wrench to screw them in the groove. Some cars have a circular design. At this time, you need to use a pipe wrench to remove the ball head. After the ball head is loosened, you can Take down the lever.
4. Install new drawbar.
First compare the tie rods and confirm that the accessories are the same before you can assemble them. First install one end of the tie rod on the steering gear, and rivet the locking piece on the steering gear, and then install the screws connected to the steering knuckle.
5. Tighten the dust cover.
Although it is a very simple operation, it has a great effect. If the place is not handled properly, water will cause abnormal sounds in the direction machine. You can apply glue to the ends of the dust cover and tie it with a cable tie.
6. Do four-wheel positioning.
After replacing the pull rod, be sure to perform four-wheel positioning, and adjust the data within the normal range, otherwise the front beam will be wrong, which will result in flat tires.
